How much rest days do you all take?
I used to work out everyday for years, I had a rule that I would take all the 31st of the months off during a year. I was mostly a gym rat, I took many classes, morning and night. Nowadays, running is my passion and I learn to listen to my body much better than before. I would try taking two days off a week and just try to take a walk and stretch.
I like to know from you sweat 365 community, are you a 365 kind of person? What do you do?
I’m more like the 132.5 kind of person.
I tend to train 3-4 days per week. I don’t specifically plan it this way, its just what my body tells me.
I try to do at least 1 hour of training per session. Starting to wonder if 7 30mins sessions aren’t better than 3.5 1 hour sessions.
Lol, and I’m definitely not the head calculation kind person… make that 182.5 days…
My feeling about training and working out is that if we are going to do it, then we should do the best our body allows us to push it and in the optimum time period that would make a difference in our physical condition.
In addition, allowing rest days for the body to recover is just as important as training. Hence, 7 days 30 min workout regimen probably is not as good as 3-4 days at 1 hour sessions.
