I missed my scheduled long-run day on Saturday-too much partying on Friday night…
So this morning, I got up bright and early (well… not factor in the day light savings roll-forward time) and went to Santa Monica for a run. I rearranged my usual route slightly by parking my car at a different location of the route to make my finish push slightly easier hence I don’t crap out at the end.
I made better time then usual and I took less walking breaks in between, I felt strong at the end.
This is one of those great workout days that you know this is the best part of the day, and I said to myself as I head back to my car “ok, whatever else you plan to do with your Sunday, it’s all gravy and bonus from this point.”
