I am not happy about walking my last mile last Saturday.
Granted for good reason, I was being smart and listening to my body, the heat was really brutal. Today’s temperture is on the cooling trend, I decided that I might as well go out there and get used to running in hot weather. I was determined that I was going to “run” the whole way this time to redeem myself. It’s not my long run day and I got to get to work at a reasonable hour.
I took different routes at vaious points than my usual routine, hence, the 6 mile goal became 7.65, but it was good overall. I slowed down but I ran the whole way with only a few walk breaks. I felt so good when I got back to my car and I looked like I just got out of the shower, I didn’t know I have that much sweat in me.
Good start for a new week.

I remember the evenings in California being cool. Most of the year evening wearing a sweat shirt and shorts. Man, I wish it was like that here. I ran in San Fran one time, Oh ya, the hill in Carmel, the one that is the main street that goes from the ocean to the High School. That is a Killer Hill.
