Short and sweet, with a side of 20 minute circuit training in the weight room.
It’s been quite a year in my running resume, 4 marathons, 2 half marathons and a 5k and countless training runs.
Next year, I want to run faster and set PR, maybe looking into ultra marathon races.
I also want to start cycling, looking to purchase a bike and get on the road instead of being in the spinning class going nowhere. :)

After missing two Saturday long runs with my running club. I was looking forward to the group meet this morning. I usually lagged in the back of the group, I don’t know what came over me this morning. I kept up with the fastest runners in the group for most of the way except for the last mile and I finished strong. I was done and stretching for about 6 minutes before the rest of the group get to the finish point. That has never happened before. Running hills everyday this week must of paid off. Once I was on flat land, I couldn’t help but to speed up. What a awesome workout!

Perfect cold weather, the air was crisp and fresh. I’ve been running everyday since Sunday, haven’t done that in a while. Feels good.

It was cold when we started, I couldn’t wait to get moving. Big group today, considering this is a big racing weekend, with Las Vegas RnR, California International marathon and Santa Barbara Marathon. Numerous runners in our group are doing one of these races. I was expecting a intimate group this morning, and I was surprised at the turn out. We debated a few minutes on which route to take and decided on running along San Vicente and loop around the Brentwood Country Club Golf course.
Everyone is in chatty mood today, we were all talking up a storm as we ran, vacations, party, races, all kinds of conversations were going on as I was talking and keeping one ear open for other conversations. It’s easy to run when you are not even thinking about running and just talking away. I had a great time.
Coffee afterwards and leisurely walk back to my car. What a beautiful morning!
