I’m a woman from Los Angeles CA USA, born in 1967.
My goals is to continue my journey as a runner in sports as well as in life.
My favorite sports include: running, spinning and walking.
I used to be a gym rat; aerobic classes, step classes, boxing, weight training were my favorates.
Three years ago, I started running with a group of ladies from my office one day a week on a 3 mile Nike run. Before I know it, I was running solo 3-4 times a week, logging 20-25 miles a week.
During 2008, I ran two 10Ks, and one 1/2 Marathon; I had plan to run the Pasadena Marathon in November 08 but was injured two weeks prior to the marathon. I am now targeting the Los Angeles Marathon in February 09.
Running helps me stay connected with my body, letting go of negative thoughts, build confidence, and stay focused. After a good run, I feel like I can do anything in the world!
This is my training blog which I am using to keep track of my training progress and remind myself how far I’ve come. I love sharing my progress with you.

Thanks for your comment. I was stationed at Fort Ord north of you for 3 years. I hate to say I don’t really remember much heat except when I was out in the Desert. I do remember the cool evenings. LA is a cool place and I hope to visit in the future.
